Pid lisochkom is a real gem for those seeking an authentic Hutsul experience in the heart of the Carpathians. The hotel is located in Verkhovyna, and though it’s a three-star establishment, the atmosphere here is much warmer than any star rating could capture. When I arrived in autumn, the hosts greeted me with homemade tea and fresh pastries — I immediately felt like I was staying at my grandmother’s in the countryside, but with all modern conveniences. Parking is free right at the entrance (which is quite an advantage in the mountains), and check-in was quick even though I arrived earlier than the standard time.
The rooms are simple but cozy — wooden finishes, embroidered towels, and most importantly, very quiet at night. The only “noise” is the rustling of leaves outside the window and occasionally distant sheep bells in the morning. Wi-Fi works decently even on the second floor, though honestly, you don’t come here for internet. Breakfasts are homemade — scrambled eggs with local sausages, fresh bread, honey from local beekeepers, and that same welcoming tea. The owners are very friendly and always ready to suggest hiking routes or tell you where to buy authentic Hutsul souvenirs (not tourist knockoffs).
The hotel is perfect for both winter and summer stays — in winter you can reach the nearest ski lift in 15 minutes by car, and in summer there are countless trails for trekking around. One downside — mobile service sometimes “dances,” especially in cloudy weather, but for a digital detox that’s actually a plus. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the hosts treat guests like family. I’m already planning to return in spring — they say it’s particularly beautiful then, when the mountains are covered with the first greenery.

Будинок дуже затишний, великий і комфортний. Є все необхідне як для короткотривалих поїздок, так і для довгого проживання. Зручне місце розташування і при цьому тихо. Поряд головна дорога, є колиба та магазини. Можна пити каву в альтанці та смажити шашлики. Але головне, дуже приємні та гостинні господарі. Дякуємо вам, наша сімʼя чудово відпочила...

Неймовірний вид з вікна! Поруч магазин, 3 хв ходьби. Приємні власники, не докучали, залишили шампанське, білі грибочки та мед. Ми були дуже приємно здивовані! Також здивувала наявність усіх косметичних засобів, навіть міцелярна вода. У кожній ванній був шампунь, гель для душу та інші засоби. Також було домашнє взуття, це теж було приємним бонусом.
