Cottage “Pyate Koleso” turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our trip to Lazeshchyna. This small three-star hotel is located on Tsentralna Street — quite quiet, though you can occasionally hear cars passing by. Parking is right next to the building, which is very convenient, especially if you’re traveling with luggage. The owners are very friendly, they met us at a late hour (we arrived around 9 PM) and quickly handled our check-in.
The rooms are quite cozy, though a bit old-fashioned — the furniture is clearly not new, but everything is clean and tidy. The shower works fine, hot water is available constantly, which you don’t always find in such small towns. WiFi reception is decent, though it sometimes hangs. From our room window, we had a lovely view of the Lazeshchyna surroundings — green hills and traditional houses. Breakfast is simple but tasty: homemade eggs, local cheese, fresh bread. The hostess told us several interesting stories about the area and recommended where to go for walks.
Cottage “Pyate Koleso” is definitely not luxurious, but for the money — it’s quite a decent option. If you’re looking for something authentic and homey in Lazeshchyna, rather than hotel chains, you can confidently come here. It’s especially beautiful in autumn — the yellow-red leaves around create a fairy-tale atmosphere. The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, it might be uncomfortable. But we were lucky with the silence.
