The apartments themselves are… well, they’re proper apartments. Not hotel rooms pretending to be apartments. I’m talking full kitchens where you can actually cook (the local grocery store is literally around the corner), decent-sized living areas, and – this surprised me – really solid Wi-Fi. The whole place has this green, peaceful vibe that matches the name perfectly. There’s something about the way they’ve set up the common areas that just makes you want to sit outside with a coffee and plan your day, you know?

But here’s what really gets me about this place – the staff actually know Karpacz. Not just the touristy stuff everyone pushes, but the real gems. They told me about this hiking trail that starts practically behind the building that most visitors never find, and honestly? It became my favorite part of the whole trip. The location is perfect for exploring the Karkonosze mountains without dealing with the crowds at Śnieżka – you can hit the trails early and be back for lunch. Parking is straightforward too, which if you’ve driven around Polish mountain towns, you know that’s not always a given. The only thing I’d mention is that it can get a bit lively on weekend evenings during peak season – nothing crazy, just families and groups enjoying themselves – but if you’re looking for absolute silence, maybe pack some earplugs. The value though? Unbeatable. I mean, you’re getting apartment-style comfort at hostel prices, in a location that would cost you twice as much if it had a fancy lobby and overpriced restaurant attached. Sometimes the best places are the ones that skip the flash and just focus on getting the basics absolutely right.
