Zelenyj Raj is a real gem in Pashkivtsi that I discovered last summer during my trip through Transcarpathia. This four-star hotel is located at Tserkovna Street 49-a, and immediately charms you with its homey atmosphere. When I arrived in the evening, the staff welcomed me very warmly — check-in took just a few minutes, and the hostess even offered me tea with local honey. Parking is free and right by the entrance (which is very convenient, especially if you have lots of luggage). The rooms here are truly cozy — not luxurious, but with everything you need and with a feeling that people actually live here, not just spend the night.
What I liked most was how Zelenyj Raj combines comfort with the authenticity of the region. Breakfasts here are homemade — fresh bread, local cheeses, scrambled eggs with vegetables from their own garden. The hosts tell you about local trails and interesting places you definitely won’t find in guidebooks. In summer you can sit in the courtyard among the greenery (that’s probably where the name comes from), and in winter — by the fireplace in the common room. The hotel is very quiet — the only sounds you hear in the morning are birdsong and bells from the neighboring church, which creates a special atmosphere. This hotel fully deserved its rating of 10 points — it’s a place you want to return to again and again, and I’m already planning my next trip here in autumn.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
