Zasypane Premium House & Sauna in Zakopane by Renters Prestige
You know what surprised me most about Zasypane Premium House? It’s actually tucked away on Kościeliska Street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t found yet. I mean, you’re still right in Zakopane – maybe a 10-minute walk to the main square where all the highlander restaurants are – but there’s this quiet, residential vibe that honestly made me sleep better than I expected in a mountain town that can get pretty lively.
The sauna thing isn’t just a throwaway amenity either. After spending the day hiking around Kasprowy Wierch (or let’s be honest, just wandering around the markets buying way too much oscypek cheese), having your own private sauna feels like such a luxury. The whole place has this modern mountain lodge aesthetic – think clean lines but with enough wood accents that you still feel like you’re in the Tatras. The rooms are spacious in that way that makes you realize how cramped most European hotels actually are, and I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the folk art that’s everywhere else in Zakopane. Sometimes you just want a comfortable bed and a decent shower, you know?
What really won me over was the little details that show someone actually thought about how people use these spaces. Good lighting for reading (crucial when the sun sets early in winter), proper hooks in the bathroom for all your wet hiking gear, and – this might sound weird – but the WiFi actually works consistently, which isn’t always a given in mountain areas. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet after dark, though you’ll hear the occasional horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping down the street, which is either charming or mildly annoying depending on your jetlag situation. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Zakopane during peak season will tell you is not something to take for granted. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend more time actually relaxing instead of just using the room as a base camp for day trips to Morskie Oko or wherever.
