When I was looking for a place to stay in Western Ukraine, Yozefstal turned out to be a real gem in Myslovka. This four-star hotel is located a bit off the main roads, but that’s exactly what makes it special — there’s such peace and quiet here that in the morning I was only woken by birdsong. Parking is free and right next to the entrance (especially convenient when you’re carrying lots of luggage), and the reception staff speaks several languages and is always ready to help with routes around the area.
The rooms are really nice — modern, but with a sense of homey comfort. I had a room overlooking a small garden, and in the evenings it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony with a cup of tea. Internet works reliably (I checked — even video calls went through without problems), the air conditioning is quiet, and there was always hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast is served until 10:30, and although the selection isn’t huge, everything is fresh and tasty — I especially liked the local syrniki and homemade jam.
What I remember most is the atmosphere. Yozefstal doesn’t pretend to be a luxury five-star resort, but it has something that big hotels often lack: attention to detail and genuine hospitality. The owners clearly care about their place — there are always fresh flowers in the lobby, the grounds are well-maintained, and when I asked about interesting places nearby, they didn’t just give me a map, but shared personal stories about each location. The price is completely fair for this level of service, and I’ll definitely come back here again if I’m in this area.
