The name might throw you off at first — honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect — but this four-star boutique spot turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special. The building itself has that old-world Romanian charm you’d hope for in the historic center, but inside there’s this modern, artistic energy that sets it apart from your typical heritage hotel.

Location & Neighborhood

You’re literally steps away from the Council Tower and the main square, which means you can roll out of bed and be sipping coffee at one of the outdoor cafés in about three minutes. What I really appreciated was how quiet Strada Faurului actually is, despite being so central — it’s one of those cobblestone streets that feels residential but puts you right where you want to be. The couples who frequent this place have it figured out; there’s something undeniably romantic about wandering back through these narrow streets after dinner, especially when the medieval buildings are lit up at night.

The Room Experience

I mean, when you’re this close to everything worth seeing, why would you want to stay inside anyway?
