HOTEL OVERVIEW

You know what caught me off guard about Wonder Home? The name sounds a bit cheesy, but honestly, it’s spot-on once you’re actually there. This apartment sits on Nad Łomnicą street, which – if you know Karpacz at all – is one of those quiet residential roads that feels worlds away from the tourist chaos downtown, even though you’re maybe a 10-minute walk from all the action.

I mean, Karpacz can get pretty hectic during ski season and summer hiking months, but this little pocket near the Łomnica stream is genuinely peaceful. The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that’s way better than sterile hotel rooms – you can actually spread out, make coffee without queuing behind other guests, and the windows look out onto proper greenery instead of parking lots. The 8.7 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be fancy, just really well thought out. The kitchen actually has everything you need (shocking, I know), and there’s decent WiFi, which matters when you’re uploading all those Śnieżka summit photos.

What I really appreciated was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to walk to Wang Church or catch the chairlift up to Kopa without dealing with car headaches, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not hearing drunk tourists at 2 AM. Plus – and this is key if you’re visiting in summer – you can actually park without circling blocks looking for a spot. The whole Nad Łomnicą area stays cooler too, thanks to all the trees and being near the water. I stayed there in July and could sleep with windows open, which you definitely can’t do closer to the center where it gets stuffy and noisy. The walk into town is actually pleasant, following the stream part of the way, and you pass some local spots that aren’t overrun with tour groups. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s neighborhood rather than just passing through a tourist zone.

What could be improved: It s on the top of the building -and there are only several small windows (although you could see śnieżka mountain from one of them). What could be improved: It s on the top of the building -and there are only several small windows (although you could see śnieżka mountain from one of them). Two toilet paper rolls for a family for a week is definitely not enough, same as one set of tiny soap and shampoo. No light next to the bed in the bedroom. One lamp on the desk - but without possibility to connect it to the socket. No spare paper towel. Not soundproofed - you could hear your neighbours quite clearly. Key collection at the reception desk in the city. Door lock not working properly (difficult to push the correct digits). No dishwasher.

Świetny apartament, bardzo dobrze wyposażony w niezbędne przedmioty. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, duży prysznic. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Świetna lokalizacja. Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu. Mam nadzieję, że jeszcze kiedyś odwiedzę z rodziną Apartament Czereśniowy 😊

Die Zentrumsnähe war super, dennoch haben wir es genossen abseits des ganzen Stadtverkehrs zu sein. Das Appartement ist sauber, ordentlich und toll ausgestattet. Die umliegende Natur ist wundervoll und lädt zum Wandern und erkunden ein. Ganz toll fand ich den Empfang von den netten Mädels.

What could be improved: Nicht so toll war leider die Hellhörigkeit der Wohnungen. Man hört die Nachbarn sehr laut und auch das was im Haus passiert. Es ist zwar ab 22 eigentlich Nachtruhe aber die wird nur eingehalten wenn Mal einer schimpft.
Schade ist das es keinen kleinen Backofen oder eine Mikrowelle mit Backfunktion gibt. Gerade wenn man mit Kindern unterwegs ist, freut man sich mittags Mal über eine schnelle Pizza oder Pommes, ohne auf die Meile zu müssen.

What could be improved: Czasem z grzejnikami był problem. Czwarte piętro bez windy, choć to akurat sprawiło nam kłopot tylko przy przyjeździe i wyjeździe
