WOL 07 by Ribas turned out to be a pleasant discovery during our ski trip to Bukovel. This four-star hotel is located on Vyshni area, which is a bit away from the main lifts, but that’s exactly what creates that special atmosphere of tranquility after an active day on the slopes. Parking is free and quite spacious — an important point if you’re coming with your own car loaded with ski equipment. The reception staff speaks Ukrainian and English, check-in was quick, though there was a small queue on Friday evening.
The rooms are quite modern, with nice mountain views (if you’re lucky with the side of the building). Heating works excellently — this is critically important in February when it’s minus fifteen outside. Wi-Fi is stable, allowing you to share photos from the slopes on social media without problems. Breakfasts are decent, though the selection isn’t very extensive; there are traditional dishes and several European options. To get to the main Bukovel area, you need to use transfer or your own transport — about 10 minutes drive, but the hotel provides information about local shuttle schedules.
The overall rating of 8.0 out of 10 seems fair — this is a solid option for those who value the price-to-quality ratio. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has friendly staff. I especially recommend it if you’re planning a quiet vacation without bustling nightlife (because there simply isn’t any nearby). In winter, it’s better to book in advance — WOL 07 by Ribas is growing in popularity, and during peak season there might not be available rooms.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
