Each cottage comes with its own fireplace (and they actually provide good firewood, not those pathetic starter logs some places give you), a proper jacuzzi that fits two people comfortably, and a sauna that gets hot enough to make you question your life choices in the best possible way. The interiors are done in that modern mountain style – lots of wood and stone, but not the cheesy fake-rustic stuff you see everywhere. You know what really impressed me? The soundproofing between units is actually decent, so when your neighbors are having their own hot tub party, you won’t hear every detail. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped too – I mean, you’re probably not going to cook a five-course meal, but making breakfast or heating up some oscypek from the local market is totally doable.

The location is perfect if you’re trying to escape without going completely off-grid. Dzianisz itself is tiny – basically just scattered houses along a winding road – but you’re close enough to Rabka-Zdrój for decent restaurants and about an hour from the serious hiking trails if that’s your thing. What I really appreciated was how dark it gets at night (you can actually see stars, imagine that) and how quiet the mornings are, except for some birds and maybe a neighbor starting their car. The owners live nearby and they’re the kind of people who’ll give you actual recommendations, not just hand you a generic tourism brochure. Parking is right next to your cottage, which sounds basic but you’ll appreciate it when you’re hauling groceries or luggage in the rain. The only minor downside? The WiFi can be a bit spotty during bad weather, but let’s be real – if you’re booking a place with a fireplace and jacuzzi, maybe that’s not the worst problem to have.
