You know what struck me first about Willa Sudety? It’s tucked away on this quiet stretch of Karkonoska Street where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic – which honestly surprised me since Karpacz can get pretty hectic during ski season. The building itself has this understated mountain lodge feel that doesn’t try too hard, if you know what I mean. None of that over-the-top alpine kitsch you see everywhere else around here.
The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the lay of the land. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk from the main Krupowa Street chaos (where all the tourists cluster around souvenir shops), but close enough that you can easily grab dinner or hit the cable car to Śnieżka without needing a car. Speaking of cars – parking was surprisingly painless, which anyone who’s driven around Karpacz in July will tell you is basically a miracle. The family running the place seems to really get what travelers need. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward hovering around the desk while they figure out their system.
What really sets this place apart, though, is how it feels like someone’s well-loved mountain retreat rather than a standard hotel. The rooms have this cozy, lived-in quality – wooden accents that don’t feel fake, comfortable beds that actually let you sleep in after a day hiking the trails around Śnieżka. I mean, the whole area can be pretty touristy, but staying here gives you this sense of being slightly removed from all that. You’ll wake up to views of the Karkonosze peaks instead of staring at another hotel across the street. The 9.5 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not about flashy amenities or marble lobbies, it’s about getting all the important stuff exactly right. The quiet at night, the solid Wi-Fi (crucial when you’re trying to upload hiking photos), and honestly just feeling like the people there actually care whether you have a good time. If you’re planning to explore the national park or just want a base that feels authentically connected to the mountains rather than some generic resort experience, this is your spot.

Great view from the balcony. Good room size. Good water. Good WiFi. The big room where we spent time with our friends. The brilliant part is the apartment owner. He helped us a lot with the trail planning. And help us to find a good spa in Karpacz. We will definitely visit this place more.

Willa znajduje się tuż przy głównej ulicy. Parking za obiektem z lekkim zjazdem. Pokój przestronny z wygodnymi łóżkami, materace miekkie. W pokoju czysto i ciepło. Mili właściciele. Bardzo czysto. Wszystko co niezbędne w pokoju. Bardzo wygodne łóżko. Super lokalizacja, blisko sklepu, przystanku autobusowego i taka sama droga zarówno do Górnego jak i Dolnego Karpacza. W pobliżu Aquapark w Hotelu Gołębiewski.

Czysto, wygodne miękkie łóżka, ładny wystrój chociaż nasz pokój był z tych mniejszych (ciaśniejszy), ale mi nie przeszkadza.
