Less traffic, easier to get out early for hikes, and you still have everything you need within a reasonable distance.

Look, I’m not saying it’s perfect – the WiFi could be stronger if you’re trying to work remotely, and like most places in the region, it books up fast during peak season. But that 9-star rating isn’t just tourist excitement talking. This is one of those places that gets the balance right between authentic mountain hospitality and actual comfort.
