Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Willa Gloria on Kasprusie street – it’s tucked away in this quiet residential area that feels more like where locals actually live rather than the touristy chaos closer to Krupówki. But you know what? That turned out to be exactly what made it special.
The thing about this place is that it gets the fundamentals absolutely right without trying to be something it’s not. It’s a solid 3-star that punches way above its weight – I mean, a 9 rating doesn’t just happen by accident. The owners (and I’m pretty sure I met them during check-in) actually seem to care about the details that matter when you’re tired from hiking Kasprowy Wierch or dealing with the summer crowds in the main square. The rooms are clean in that “my Polish grandmother would approve” kind of way, and honestly, after staying in some questionable places in Zakopane’s center, that attention to cleanliness felt like luxury. Parking was straightforward too – none of that circling-the-block-for-twenty-minutes nonsense you get with hotels closer to the action.
What really sold me was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re far enough from Krupówki that you won’t hear drunk tourists at 2 AM (trust me, this matters more than you think), but it’s still an easy walk when you want pierogi or to catch one of those minibuses up to the cable car. The neighborhood has this authentic Podhale feel – you’ll see actual Zakopane residents going about their day instead of just crowds of visitors. I actually discovered a little local bakery just two streets over that I never would have found if I’d stayed in the tourist zone. The morning light hits the Tatras perfectly from this part of town too, which sounds cheesy but genuinely made drinking coffee on their terrace feel pretty magical. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental (though honestly, isn’t that half the point of being in the mountains?), but Willa Gloria nails what a good Zakopane stay should be about – comfortable, genuine, and positioned so you can actually experience the place rather than just photograph it.

Cute place! Quiet location. Nice, large kitchen area.
The location is great, 15 mins walking distance to city center. Surrounded by nice hiking areas. Host was very nice and helpful. The room was very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen and eating areas were very well supplied with all the essentials. Will definitely book it again.
The location of Willa Gloria was perfect as it is within walking distance of the service road leading to many trails, making my hiking experience a good one. The price was very reasonable and check-in was problem-free. I liked the log cabin vibe of the place, which was both rustic and comfortable. I would stay there again next time I am in Zakopane.
It is a beautiful place, close to major attractions in Zakopane, well except Morskie Oko, of course. The place has a nice vibe. It has a nice kitchen with lots of seating in the basement.
Fully equiped kitchen and lots of coffee/tea for breakfast.
They were extremely nice, the location is very good, walking distance (20min or so) to train station.
The place is amazing, one of my best stays in booking!
Thank you for everything!
I loved everything about my stay at Willa Gloria. The host is the most helpful and thoughtful person and was so welcoming. The place is immaculately clean and really cosy. Free tea and coffee in the well equipped kitchen. The location is great, only around 10 min walk to the city centre and 20 min to Tatra National Park. I’ll be definitely staying there again!
1. Villa is located not in the center, that makes to enjoy silence and solitude. Bit it's very easy to get to the center and to the shoppe to make groceries. Just perfect. It is very close to one of the very beautiful valley's in Tatry which is just amazing.
2. Room for a single traveller is comfortable and very good organized. I had my bed, table with chairs, wardrobe and the shower. Quiet dry inside so my staff dried in a night so the next day I could put them on me and go on my hike.
3. Kitchen is so big and very good organized. U can find there anything you need and and have your meal in ambient big room.
4. The housekeeper is a friendly and open person. He took care of all the visitors. I really liked our conversations about valley's, mountains, traks in Tatry also food and tradition in Zako. Amazing human being.
It is very clean everywhere and you can feel that the staff takes care of you. Amazing.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and gracious.
The room was sufficient for me and my family; we had a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. One day, we got very wet while hiking up Kasprowy Wierch, but when we returned, we were provided with a washing machine and dryer to dry our clothes. The kitchen is combined with the dining area, forming one large room. The fireplace, which was lit, added an amazing atmosphere, making it very warm and cosy. There are fridges, a stove, a microwave, plates, cups, pots, pans, and everything you might need. They even provided laundry detergent :). We have very fond memories and will definitely visit again. Very close to Giewont :) Warm regards!!!
