The building sits right on Chałubińskiego street, and you know what’s great about that? You’re literally a five-minute walk from Krupówki (that’s the main pedestrian strip where all the action happens), but you don’t get the chaos and noise that comes with staying right in the thick of it.

The apartments themselves are pretty solid for what you’re paying. I mean, they’re not going to win any design awards, but everything works and there’s actual space to spread out – something you definitely appreciate after a day of hiking in the Tatras or wandering around the old wooden architecture in Zakopane’s center. The kitchenettes are legit functional too, which is clutch because eating out every meal in Zakopane can get pricey fast (though I’d still recommend hitting up at least one góralski restaurant for the sheep cheese and regional specialties). What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night despite being so close to everything. The windows actually block out street noise pretty well, and since it’s just off the main tourist drag rather than on it, you don’t get groups stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM.

Here’s the thing that sets this place apart though – the staff actually knows Zakopane. When I was trying to figure out the best trails that weren’t completely packed with tour groups, the woman at reception gave me this whole rundown of lesser-known spots and even told me which cable car stations to hit early before the crowds arrive. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold, especially during summer and winter peak seasons when half of Poland seems to descend on this place. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area (honestly, it’s a puzzle everywhere in Zakopane), but they’ve got spots sorted which removes one major headache. The 8/10 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what most people actually need: clean, comfortable space in a great location with people who give a damn about your experience. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the mountains and town anyway, this is the kind of place that just works without any drama.
