Village apartments Polyana turned out to be a real gem during our trip to the Carpathians! This three-star hotel is located right on Kurortna Street — very convenient since you can walk to the main attractions of Polyana in 5-10 minutes. When we arrived in autumn, the staff greeted us very warmly, though check-in took a bit longer (but it’s not critical). Parking is free right at the hotel — for those driving their own car, this is a big advantage.
The rooms are quite simple but clean and cozy. We had a double room with mountain views — waking up to such scenery in the morning is truly wonderful! Wi-Fi works fine, though it occasionally hangs (but for a mountain getaway, that’s even a plus). The kitchenette in the room lets you prepare something quick, which saves money — prices at local cafes are a bit steep. The only downside: walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are noisy, you can hear it. We were lucky with quiet neighbors, but worth keeping in mind.
Overall, the hotel fully lives up to its 8.0 rating. It’s not a luxurious five-star complex, but for the money — an excellent choice for those seeking a clean, comfortable place with good location. The hosts really try hard, and you can feel it. In winter it’s probably even better — close to the lifts, and in summer everything around is very green and fresh. Definitely recommend for family vacation or a romantic weekend getaway!
