Вілла Софі

Вілла Софі is a real gem in the heart of the Carpathians that I discovered last summer. Located on Довбуша street, this four-star villa impresses with its cozy atmosphere and incredible hospitality from the owners. Check-in was very smooth — the hosts greeted us with smiles and immediately offered hot tea with homemade treats. Parking is free right at the entrance, which is very convenient, especially if you’re arriving with luggage after a long drive from the city.

The rooms are decorated in traditional Carpathian style but with all modern amenities. I particularly loved the wooden finishes and the mountain view from the window — in the morning you wake up to birdsong and fresh mountain air. Wi-Fi works reliably even on the second floor, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work. It’s very quiet at night, even though the villa is located not far from the center of Verkhovyna. The owners told us that it’s especially picturesque in winter — snow lies all around and logs crackle in the fireplace.

Breakfast is served in the cozy dining room with panoramic windows. The hostess makes incredible cheese pancakes and homemade bread, and the coffee is always fresh and aromatic. The staff is very friendly and always ready to recommend the best hiking routes or tell you about local traditions. For this price and quality of service — it’s simply perfect value for money. I’ll definitely return here again, maybe in autumn when the leaves change color.
