Вілла Смерекова хата is a real gem in the village of Repynne near Pilipets. When I first saw this three-star hotel, I realized I’d found a place where mountain authenticity meets homey comfort. The hosts are very welcoming — they greeted us with smiles and told us about all the interesting routes in the area. Check-in was quick, though keep in mind this is a mountain village, so the drive might take a bit longer than expected (especially in winter when there’s snow). Free parking right at the villa is a huge plus when you arrive by car.
The rooms are genuinely cozy, with wooden elements and that mountain spirit. My room had a wonderful forest view, and waking up to birdsong in the morning is incredible. Wi-Fi works reliably, which matters if you need to stay connected. Breakfasts are homemade and hearty — local dishes, fresh ingredients, everything you need after an active day in the mountains. Вілла Смерекова хата is located quite peacefully; even in summer when there are more tourists, there’s none of the hustle and bustle of big hotels.
What I especially loved was the proximity to Pilipets’ main attractions. You can reach the ski lifts in 15-20 minutes by car, and there are plenty of hiking trails around the villa. In winter it’s a real fairytale — snow, silence, the chance to ski nearby. Summer is wonderful too: fresh mountain air, green forests, perfect conditions for escaping the urban rush. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — this is a place you want to return to, especially if you value genuine mountain atmosphere without unnecessary pompousness.
