Вілла Розмарія became a real discovery for me during my last trip to the Carpathians. This three-star hotel is located on Galytska Street in Yaremche, and while the street name might make you think it’s somewhere on the outskirts, it’s actually about a fifteen-minute leisurely walk to the city center. Parking is free (which isn’t always a given in Yaremche), and there are always enough spots — a big plus, especially in summer when tourists flood the area. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly, though not everyone speaks English.
The rooms are clean and cozy, with simple but functional furniture — nothing fancy, but everything you need is there. Windows face either toward the mountains (which is better) or the inner courtyard. If you’re planning to vacation in fall or winter, bring warm clothes — the heating works, but old buildings in the mountains still get chilly in the mornings. The shower with hot water worked without issues, wi-fi even caught signal on the second floor, which was a pleasant surprise. On the downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, it can get loud. But that’s more a regional characteristic than specific to this hotel.
Breakfasts are homemade and hearty — traditional Carpathian dishes, cheese, sausage, eggs, strong coffee. The owners clearly know that tourists are hungry after mountain hikes. The location is very convenient for those planning to visit Bukovel or take hiking trails — it’s about twenty minutes by car to the lift, and walking paths start practically around the corner. Overall, for its price, Вілла Розмарія delivers what it promises — a clean room, tasty food, and hospitality. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved.
