Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and ready to tell you where to find the best homemade dumplings in town (I recommend listening to their advice).

The soundproofing is decent, though if you get a room facing the main road, it can be a bit noisy early in the morning from passing cars. There’s no air conditioning, but in summer it’s not critical — evenings get cool, and mornings the air is actually fresh.

Breakfasts are simple but tasty: homemade bread, local cheeses, scrambled eggs, and always porridge — everything you need before a day spent walking the surrounding areas. The hosts know plenty of interesting places nearby and happily share routes to ancient churches and natural monuments. It’s especially beautiful here in autumn — the yellow-red forests around create a fairy-tale atmosphere. Overall, Villa Med’OK is a place for those seeking peace, authenticity, and wanting to feel the true spirit of Bukovina without unnecessary pretensions.
