Villa Kvitka Overview
Villa Kvitka turned out to be a real gem during our trip to Transcarpathia. This four-star hotel is located in the picturesque Urochyshe Zavadky near Svalyava — a place so quiet that in the morning only birds wake you up. The road there winds a bit through the mountains, but GPS guides you without problems, and there are absolutely no issues with parking (a large courtyard right at the entrance). Check-in went smoothly, the staff is very friendly and immediately explained where everything is located.
The rooms turned out to be more spacious than expected — with a small balcony and wonderful mountain views. Breakfast is served until 10:30, and it’s really delicious: homemade cottage cheese pancakes, local sausages, fresh pastries (I recommend getting up early while everything is still warm). Wi-Fi works stably even on the second floor, which was a pleasant surprise. In the evening you can sit on the terrace with a cup of tea — the atmosphere is very cozy, especially in autumn when the leaves change colors.
What I particularly liked was the proximity to thermal springs (15 minutes by car) and the complete absence of city hustle and bustle. The only downside: mobile signal is a bit weak (but is that really a downside when you want to relax?). For this price and quality of service, I’ll definitely come back here again — especially in winter, when there will be snow all around and you can go skiing in Bukovel.
To book a hotel in the Carpathians during the popular ski season in Bukovel, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the region attracts mountain landscape enthusiasts and active recreation lovers from across the country.
