If you’re looking for a truly cozy place in the mountains, Villa Gor is exactly what you need. This four-star hotel is located in Urochyshche Vyshnia, and while the address might seem a bit confusing (I had to ask the taxi driver twice), it’s worth it. The hotel sits in a quiet corner, away from the main hustle and bustle of Bukovel, but you can still reach the ski lifts in 10-15 minutes by car. Parking is free — a big plus, especially during peak season when every spot is contested.
Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and ready to help with any questions. The rooms are spacious with beautiful mountain views — I woke up every morning feeling like I was in a fairy tale. Breakfasts are homemade, nothing fancy, but tasty and filling (I especially recommend their cottage cheese pancakes). The only thing that might be challenging is that the road to the hotel can be a bit slippery in winter, so it’s better to have winter tires or chains. Overall, Villa Gor made a very pleasant impression on me — the perfect combination of comfort, nature, and tranquility. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved, and I’ll definitely return here again, maybe in summer to see these landscapes dressed in green.
