Villa Family House Truskavets turned out to be a real gem in the village of Modrychi — a quiet corner near the resort town of Truskavets. When I arrived here in autumn, I immediately felt how much this place differs from noisy hotel complexes. This four-star establishment is located in a private house where each guest receives personal attention from the owners. Parking is free right at the entrance (which is rare for popular resort areas), and check-in goes quickly without unnecessary bureaucracy. The rooms are truly homey — not luxurious, but cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hosts turned out to be very hospitable people who know all the local secrets. They told me about the best routes to the pump room in Truskavets (15 minutes by car), advised where to buy genuine Hutsul cheese, and even organized a transfer to the railway station. Breakfasts here are homemade — not a buffet, but what the hostess herself cooks: fresh syrniki, homemade sausages, baked vegetables from their own garden. In winter the house is very warm thanks to autonomous heating, and in summer it’s cool even without air conditioning — thick walls and large trees around create a natural microclimate. WiFi works stably, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work.
Hotels in the Carpathians provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Hutsul crafts and experience daily life in historic mountain villages.

Great hosts, perfectly clean house, plenty of space, modern amenities, private parking, possibility to make barbecue. Internet is fast and stable, were able to work remotely without any issues.
