Villa Bilogirya turned out to be a real gem during our Carpathian trip last autumn. This four-star hotel is located on Lesi Ukrainky Street in the heart of Yaremche, and I can say it’s hard to find a better spot — just 15 minutes drive to the Bukovel ski lift, and the central market with Hutsul souvenirs is literally around the corner. Check-in went smoothly (even though we arrived a bit early), and the staff immediately advised us where to park — this is important because parking in Yaremche can be tricky, especially during peak season.
The rooms at Villa Bilogirya are quite spacious, with nice mountain views (at least the one we had on the second floor). I particularly liked the bathroom — everything clean, modern, hot water available constantly. Wi-Fi works reliably even in the rooms, which isn’t always the case in mountain hotels. The only thing to note — the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are noisy, it might be disturbing. But overall the atmosphere is very peaceful, most guests are families with children and couples who come to enjoy nature.
Breakfast is served in the cozy dining room until 10 AM — nothing fancy, but tasty and filling (omelet, cheese pancakes, fresh vegetables). The hotel owners are very friendly and always ready to help with routes — they recommended a wonderful trail to Probiy waterfall that we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves. For this price-quality ratio I definitely recommend it, especially if you’re planning an active vacation in the Carpathians.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
