You know what’s funny about Vila Sanne? I almost drove right past it the first time – it sits quietly on Strada Nouă in Hălchiu, which honestly isn’t where you’d expect to find a gem like this. But that’s exactly what makes it special. While everyone’s crowding into Brașov proper, you’re tucked away in this peaceful village that feels like stepping back in time, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from all the medieval castle chaos.
The moment you walk in, you get why this place has a 9.9 rating. I mean, those numbers usually seem inflated, right? But the owners – and I’m pretty sure they live on-site – have this attention to detail that’s hard to fake. The rooms have that perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. Think exposed beams and traditional Romanian touches, but with Wi-Fi that actually works and bathrooms that don’t make you question your life choices. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters when you’ve been hiking around Postăvaru all day. What really got me was the breakfast – they serve it in this cozy dining area that overlooks the garden, and it’s clear they source ingredients locally. Fresh bread, local cheeses, and honestly some of the best coffee I had in Romania.
Here’s the thing about staying in Hălchiu instead of central Brașov – you get the authentic Transylvanian village experience without sacrificing comfort. The streets are quiet (almost eerily so if you’re used to city life), parking is never an issue, and you’re positioned perfectly for day trips. Bran Castle is practically next door, Rasnov Citadel is a quick drive, and if you’re into hiking, there are trails that start right from the village that most tourists never discover. The staff knows all these local spots too – they gave me directions to this incredible viewpoint that wasn’t on any of my maps. Sure, you’ll need a car to make the most of it, but that’s true for most of rural Romania anyway. What you get in return is waking up to mountain views, village sounds (which is mostly just birds and the occasional sheep), and the feeling that you’ve found somewhere genuinely special rather than just another tourist stop.

Vilă mare, spațioasă, încăperi mari (vor depăși așteptările), sistem de încălzire eficient. Bucătărie utilată complet, curte încăpătoare, curte și terasă spațioase, trambulină pentru copii, grătar.
Comunicarea excelentă cu proprietarul
Spatiu de cazare/dormit mai mult decât suficient: fiecare dormitor are un pat dublu king-size și o canapea. Dormitorul master are, în plus, încă o cameră adiacentă, cu 2 paturi single. La solicitare, am primit încă un pătuț pentru un bebeluș.
Paturi, mobilier, lenjerii, veselă, tacâmuri, dotări - toate de calitate.
Zonă liniștită și foarte ofertantă, la 10-30min de condus de foarte multe obiective turistice și posibilități de petrecere a timpului liber.
Tutto,la posizione,pulizia,hai a disposizione tutto quello che ti serve in cucina,anche lavastoviglie,assolutamente consigliato.

Vilă spațioasă, la fel și camerele, foișor încăpător și izolat, curte frumos aranjată, cu multe plante. Iar liniștea din zonă este superbă! Gazda super prietenoasă care ne-a oferit suport și ajutor!

Colectivul de parinti al echipei Juniorul Suceava 2016 multumeste pentru conditiile deosebite de care am avut parte in aceasta locatie, timp de 3 zile. Curatenie, intimitate, caldura si apa calda la dispozitie non stop, chiar si pana la ultimul etaj, bucatarie spatioasa cu toate dotarile necesare, inclusiv masina de spalat vase, vesela suficienta pentru toti oaspetii cazati, design modern si de bun gust, gratar si terasa spatioasa, loc suficient de parcare in curte pentru toate masinile, living generos. Totul a fost la superlativ, revenim si cu alte ocazii!
Tiene un gran número de baño, algunas habitaciones tienen baño propio.
Tiene una planta entera par jugar, hablar y divertirnos en grupo.
Tiene un comedor y un salón grande para comer juntos unas 20 personas.
Vila Sanne este EXCEPTIONALA, foarte spatioasa si comfortabila, de o curatenie imaculata, camerele si paturile sunt foarte spatioase. Living-ul e foarte comfortabil cu canapele comode, un smart TV cu toate canalele incl. Netflix si o masa de10-12 persoane cu scaune foarte comode. Dar cel mai impresionati am ramas de bucataria imensa dotata cu absolut tot ce-si doreste fiecare turist, o terasa mare si o gradina foarte ingrijita cu 2 gratare, unul pe carbune si celalat pe gaz.
Gazda a fost foarte calda si primitoare, ne-a asteptat cu o Oala de Sarmale in frunza de varza atat de delicioase, incat in 3 zile am consumat toata oala. Nu in ultimul rand de notat faptul ca in curtea din fata am putut parca in siguranta 5 masini.
