When I first saw this three-star hotel, I was a bit skeptical — the building is quite modest, but inside I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and cozy, though not luxurious, and the staff is very welcoming. I especially liked that the hostess knows all the local trails and happily tells you where to get the best mountain views for photos. Parking is free right by the entrance (which is rare for the Carpathians), and check-in was quick, even when we arrived at 2:30 PM.

The breakfasts here are homemade — not a buffet, but what the hostess cooks herself: cottage cheese pancakes, homemade sausages, fresh bread. Sometimes in the morning you can hear her bustling in the kitchen as early as six o’clock, but it’s rather endearing than annoying. From the second-floor windows there’s a decent view of the surroundings, especially in autumn when the leaves turn yellow. Wi-Fi works reliably (I checked — 8 Mbps), which is important if you need to stay connected. In the evenings, guests often gather in the lobby and share impressions from their hikes — it’s this informal community atmosphere of travelers.

The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, you can hear conversations. But overall for this price (around 1200 UAH per night) it’s an excellent quality-to-value ratio. Hotel Відпочинок в Карпатах is perfect for those looking for a simple, clean, and friendly shelter after a day in the mountains. I would definitely come back here again — especially in summer, when you can sit in the courtyard with a cup of coffee and plan tomorrow’s route.
