When I visited in autumn, November transformed the surroundings into a real picture — golden forests and misty mountain slopes created a magical atmosphere. Parking there is free (a big plus if you’re driving), and the reception staff are always ready to suggest the best hiking routes or where to try authentic Hutsul cuisine.
What I particularly loved was the attention to detail and the atmosphere of homey comfort. The rooms are clean, spacious, with beautiful mountain views, and breakfast is served with local products (definitely try their homemade sour cream and honey). The hotel operates year-round, but I’d recommend visiting either in autumn for the picturesque landscapes or in winter for ski season — the lifts are easily accessible. The only thing to note is that the building is historic, so you can sometimes hear neighbors’ footsteps from above, but this adds authenticity rather than being bothersome. The owners truly care about their guests, and you can feel it in every detail — from fresh towels to advice about the best local attractions.
