Verhovel Hotel

Verhovel Hotel turned out to be a real gem in the heart of the Carpathians! When I arrived in Verkhovyna in winter, I didn’t expect to find such a cozy four-star hotel on Franka Street. The staff welcomed me very warmly — check-in went smoothly even though I arrived a bit earlier than standard time. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice mountain view (if you get a room on the third floor — the scenery is just incredible). The heating worked perfectly, which is especially important in winter in Verkhovyna, where temperatures can drop quite low.

Breakfast was served in a small restaurant on the first floor — nothing extraordinary, but tasty and filling. I especially enjoyed the homemade syrniki and local sour cream. Parking is free right next to the hotel, which is very convenient because in winter you don’t want to drag your luggage far through the snow. Wi-Fi worked stably even in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. The only downside — you can hear neighbors through the walls a bit, but it’s not critical, especially if you’re tired after a full day of skiing or mountain hiking. The hotel is very conveniently located — about five minutes walk to the city center, and not far to the ski lifts either. For this price and with an 8.0 rating — it’s really a good option for a Carpathian getaway, especially if you’re looking for something comfortable but not too expensive.
