Вербовий двір – Willow Yard turned out to be a real gem during our trip to Transcarpathia! This four-star hotel is located on Shevchenka Street in a quiet area where you can easily park your car right by the entrance — a big plus when you’re traveling with luggage. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help even late in the evening (we arrived at 10:30 PM). The rooms are spacious and clean, with everything you need — the air conditioning runs quietly, Wi-Fi is stable, and hot water is always available.

I especially loved the hotel grounds — there really is that “willow yard” the name promises, with a small garden where it’s pleasant to sit with morning coffee. Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM, with a decent selection — Ukrainian classics plus a few European dishes. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the region’s main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploration. The only downside — you can sometimes hear the road, but only if you open the window; with closed windows it’s quiet.

Overall, I highly recommend it, especially for the price — the quality fully matches expectations for a four-star establishment. We’ll definitely return here next time!
