Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to VacationClub’s apartment on Okrzei street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is pretty typical for Karpacz, you know, that mix of old Polish mountain architecture with some newer touches. But once you get inside apartment 19, it actually feels like someone put real thought into making this a proper home base for exploring the area.
The thing about staying on Okrzei is you’re sort of perfectly positioned without being right in the thick of tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to the main drag where all the restaurants and souvenir shops are, but you’re not dealing with groups of hikers tramping past your window at 6 AM (though honestly, you might be one of those hikers yourself if you’re planning to tackle Śnieżka). The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that I actually prefer over those sterile hotel rooms – there’s a proper kitchen where you can make coffee the way you like it, and the living area has enough space that you don’t feel like you’re camping indoors. The WiFi worked fine for me, which matters when you’re trying to check trail conditions or figure out bus schedules to other parts of the Karkonosze.
What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone who knows Karpacz put this together. There’s decent parking nearby (and trust me, that’s not a given in this town), the heating actually works properly – crucial if you’re visiting outside summer months when it gets properly cold up here – and they’ve got blackout curtains that’ll help you sleep in if you’ve spent the day hiking your legs off. The 7.7 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and practical. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was coming back with a group since there’s enough space to spread out without getting on each other’s nerves. Plus, being in an actual apartment building means you get a glimpse of how locals live, which beats the tourist bubble thing hands down.

Setting in beautiful forest
What could be improved: The property wasn’t clean no curtains in the balkony door dust everywhere I was disappointed I complained to the owner no one reply or return my call very disappointing because I was the 2 years ago was perfect know the property is outdated

Wszystko ok. Czysto, spokojnie, z dala od zgielku a zarazem blisko do centrum i na szlaki. Bardzo dobry i mily kontakt, wszystko czego potrzeba bylo na miejscu. Podziemny parking z dedykowanym miejscem.

Schön eingerichtetes Apartment. Zwei Bäder. Sehr geräumig und gute Lage. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und drei Kindern hier. Alle waren sehr zufrieden.
What could be improved: Falsche Informationen zur Tiefgarage. Diese war nur bis 1,9 Meter Fahrzeughöhe befahrbar. Vorab Info lautete 2,1 Meter.

Ubytování v centru Karpatze, ale v zeleni a v klidu.
Bezproblémová komunikace a dohoda s ubytovateli.
Ubytování je dostatečně zabezpečeno.
What could be improved: 2denní hluk z vedlejšího apartmánu do ranních hodin, ale to nikdo neovlivní.
Jinak nemáme co vytknout.

Sehr tolle Lage,alles da was man braucht. Das es keinen Backofen gibt war nicht schlimm,frische Brötchen waren in 5 Minuten Fußweg geholt. What could be improved: Als Information gab es lediglich den Code für den Schlüsselkasten. Keine Info wo man parken soll und wie man Tor und Garage öffnet oder das für 6 Personen nur ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung...
