You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually tucked away on Myśliwska Street in a way that feels properly residential – not like those tourist traps right in the center where you’re dodging crowds just to get to your front door. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish apartment block vibe, which honestly I found kind of reassuring after staying in some overly precious boutique places that charge you extra for breathing.
The apartment – well, it’s apartment 2, so you’re not hauling luggage up endless flights of stairs, which anyone who’s traveled with more than a backpack will appreciate. Inside, it’s got that VacationClub setup that’s become pretty standard in Karpacz these days, and I mean that in a good way. They’ve figured out what actually works for people staying more than a night or two. The kitchen’s properly equipped (I actually cooked dinner twice, which says something), and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re living in each other’s pockets. The furnishing is… look, it’s not going to win design awards, but everything works and it’s clean, which matters more than Instagram-worthy throw pillows when you’re actually living somewhere.
What I really liked was how it sits in the neighborhood – you’re close enough to walk into the main part of Karpacz without it being a proper hike, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the weekend party crowd noise. The 7-rating makes sense to me, honestly. It’s solidly good without being fancy, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The area gets busy during ski season and summer hiking months, but even then, Myśliwska stays relatively quiet compared to the streets closer to the lifts. Parking wasn’t a nightmare, which in Karpacz is basically a minor miracle – there’s usually space somewhere nearby, though you might have to walk a block or two during peak times. The whole setup just works well if you’re planning to actually use Karpacz as a base for exploring the Karkonosze mountains rather than just passing through. It’s the kind of place where you can come back after a long day hiking Śnieżka, throw together a proper meal, and actually relax without feeling like you’re camping or paying resort prices for basic comfort.
