VacationClub – Konstytucji 3 Maja 33A Apartament 3
Honestly, when I first pulled up to Konstytucji 3 Maja 33A, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from VacationClub’s apartment setup in Karpacz. The building itself is pretty straightforward – nothing fancy, but you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re just looking for a decent base to explore the Karkonosze mountains without breaking the bank.
The apartment (it’s number 3, by the way – easy to find) is actually more spacious than the photos suggest, which was a pleasant surprise. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the furniture has that slightly worn-in feel you get with vacation rentals, but everything works and it’s clean enough. The kitchen has all the basics if you want to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the street instead of eating out every meal – which honestly makes sense in Karpacz since restaurant prices can add up quick, especially during ski season. What I really appreciated was having actual counter space to spread out, and the fridge was properly cold (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case in budget places).
Location-wise, you’re about a 10-minute walk to the main drag where all the tourist stuff happens, but far enough away that you don’t get the constant noise from people heading to and from the cable car to Śnieżka. The street itself is pretty quiet – mostly other apartment buildings and a few local shops. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak times, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The check-in process was straightforward enough, though I’d recommend confirming the exact procedure beforehand since it’s not always someone physically there. One thing to note – the WiFi is decent for basic stuff, but if you’re planning to stream movies or work remotely, you might want to manage your expectations. And while we’re being honest here, the place could use some updating (the bathroom fixtures have definitely seen better days), but for the price point and the fact that you’re probably spending most of your time hiking or skiing anyway, it does the job. The 6.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away, but it’s a solid, no-frills option if you want to experience Karpacz without the resort hotel prices.
