Mine had this great little kitchenette that actually worked (shocking, I know) and a balcony where you could see the Tatras peeking through the trees. The spa part isn’t some massive wellness center, honestly – it’s more like a really nice sauna and relaxation area that feels intimate rather than overwhelming.

What I really appreciated was how the whole place just… worked. Check-in was smooth, parking was actually available (huge win in Zakopane), and the apartment had all those little touches that make you think someone who travels a lot designed it. Good lighting, enough outlets, a coffee machine that didn’t require an engineering degree to operate. The location is brilliant if you know the area – you’re close enough to Gubałówka that the cable car is a short drive, but far enough from the main drag that you can actually sleep at night without drunk tourists singing folk songs under your window. I stayed there in late spring, and the walk to the thermal baths at the base of the mountains was gorgeous, especially in the evening when everything gets that golden light.

Plus, being on Droga do Tadziaków means you’re positioned perfectly for day trips – whether you want to hit Morskie Oko, explore the wooden churches, or just wander through the local markets. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels like too much effort.
