The parking situation is straightforward (always a relief), and the local knowledge you’ll get from the staff is worth its weight in gold. I mean, where else would I have learned about that hiking trail that starts practically behind the property? The 9-point rating this place has earned feels spot-on – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it absolutely nails what it sets out to do. Sometimes you find a place that just makes sense, where everything works without fanfare, and you end up recommending it to everyone you know. This is one of those places.
