У Віти номер 4 is a real gem in the heart of the Carpathians! When I first came to Synevyrsʼka Polyana, I didn’t expect to find such a cozy place. This three-star hotel is located right next to the national park, and in the morning you can wake up to birdsong instead of city noise. The hostess Vita is an incredibly hospitable woman who will tell you all the secrets of local trails and will definitely treat you to homemade tea made from Carpathian herbs. Parking is free right next to the house, which is very convenient, especially if you’re traveling with a trunk full of hiking gear.
The rooms here are truly homey — don’t expect five-star luxury, but everything you need is there: clean bedding, hot water (which in the mountains isn’t always a given), and even a small fridge. My room faced the forest, and in the evenings you could hear owls calling to each other somewhere in the distance. The only downside — the walls are quite thin, so if your neighbors are cheerful tourists, you might hear their conversations. But honestly, after a full day of hiking in the mountains, that doesn’t matter so much anymore.
It’s best to come here in autumn or spring — summer can be a bit crowded due to the proximity to Lake Synevyr, and in winter the road can be challenging. Vita will always help arrange a transfer or suggest where to buy groceries. By the way, there’s a wonderful koliba nearby where they make authentic bograch — definitely try it! Overall, if you’re looking not for a hotel, but for a genuine Carpathian experience with a soulful atmosphere, this is your place.
