When I was looking for a place to stay in Huklyvyy, У Люби immediately caught my attention with its homey atmosphere. This four-star hotel is located on Головна street — and it’s really convenient, as all the main places are within walking distance. Parking is free right at the entrance (which is rare for the center), though sometimes you have to circle around a bit to find a free spot. The owner Lyuba personally greets guests — genuine care that you won’t find in big hotel chains.
The rooms are clean and cozy, with that special attention to detail you only feel in family-run hotels. Wi-Fi works reliably (I tested it even in the far corner of my room), and the breakfasts are a separate conversation altogether. Lyuba cooks herself, and her cottage cheese pancakes with homemade sour cream are worth waking up a bit earlier for. The only thing to note — the walls aren’t very thick, so if neighbors are noisy, you might hear conversations. But overall the atmosphere is very peaceful.
The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well-deserved. For this money you get not just a night’s stay, but genuine Ukrainian hospitality. In summer you can sit in the small courtyard with a cup of coffee, and in winter — warm up by the fireplace in the common living room. I recommend it to those who value personal approach and homey comfort more than standard hotel service.
