If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind away from city chaos, Tustan Apart will be a pleasant discovery. This three-star hotel is located in the village of Urych — a tiny corner of Lviv region where time seems to have stopped. When I first arrived here in autumn, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Parking is free (which is rare these days), and you can leave your car right at the entrance without any worries.
The rooms are simple but cozy — everything you need is there, though don’t expect luxury. The bed linen is fresh, hot water works, Wi-Fi is stable even in the second-floor rooms. I especially liked the kitchenette — you can make coffee in the morning or heat up something after a long day exploring the surroundings. The owners live nearby and are always ready to help with any questions, whether it’s directions to the nearest attractions or advice about local cuisine.
The main advantage of this place is the absolute silence at night and clean air (especially after rain it smells incredible!). If you’re going here in summer, definitely bring insect repellent — mosquitoes can be bothersome in the evenings. Tustan Apart is perfect for those who want to escape city noise and enjoy the nature of the Carpathian foothills. For the price-to-quality ratio — it’s quite a decent option, especially if you consider it as a base for exploring the region.
Hotels in the Carpathians provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Hutsul crafts and experience daily life in historic mountain villages.
