Truskavets Oasis Apartments turned out to be a real gem during my trip to Truskavets last summer. This three-star hotel is located on Pavla Skoropadskogo Street, and although the name sounds like a big complex, it’s actually a cozy building with apartments where you feel almost at home. The staff here is very friendly — at reception they’re always ready to help with routes to the pump room or recommend a good place for dinner. Parking is free (which is quite rare in a resort town!), though in summer spots fill up quickly, so it’s better to arrive before evening.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with a small kitchen — very convenient when you want to brew morning coffee or store medications in the fridge. The furniture looks a bit dated, but everything works well, and the windows offer pleasant views of Truskavets’ green streets. WiFi works reliably, which is important when you need to contact family. The only thing that might be somewhat bothersome is road noise in the morning, but if you close the windows, it’s quite bearable. It’s a 10-15 minute leisurely walk to the central part of the resort, and even closer to the nearest pump room.
Overall, for the money, this is an excellent option for those seeking comfort without excessive luxury. I would return here again — especially in autumn, when there are fewer tourists and prices are even more pleasant. The 8.0 rating is well deserved, though a couple of small things could be improved (for example, updating the shower cabin). But the atmosphere here is truly homey, and after a day of strolling around the resort, you return as if to your own home.
