Трускавець Апартаменти turned out to be a pleasant surprise during my recent vacation in Truskavets. This four-star hotel is located on Ivan Kotlyarevsky Street — quite quiet, yet within walking distance of the main resort attractions. Parking here is free (which is rare for the central part of the city), although spaces aren’t always available, especially during high season. Check-in is quick, the staff is friendly and speaks Ukrainian and Russian — this might be a bit challenging for foreign guests, but they handle basic issues without problems.
The rooms really do resemble apartments — a spacious kitchen with all necessary utensils, separate bedroom and living room. The furniture isn’t the newest, but it’s functional, and the Wi-Fi works reliably even on upper floors. I especially liked having the option to cook for myself — in Truskavets this saves quite a bit of money on restaurants. The soundproofing is decent, though you can sometimes hear neighbors upstairs, but nothing critical. The windows offer views of the city’s quiet streets, and in summer it’s pleasant to watch local life from the balcony.
It’s about a fifteen-minute leisurely walk to the mineral water pump room, and roughly the same to the central park. This is convenient because you don’t need to cover long distances every morning to get to treatment procedures. The overall rating of 8.0 seems fair — the hotel delivers what it promises, without unnecessary frills, but with comfort. I especially recommend it for those staying a week or more — having a kitchen and space makes the stay much more comfortable than regular hotel rooms.
Hotels in the Carpathians provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Hutsul crafts and experience daily life in historic mountain villages.
