I stayed here last winter with friends, and right from the doorway I knew this would be a special vacation. The apartment is located at 21 Taras Shevchenko Street, and from here it really is a leisurely 15-minute walk to the center — tested by myself with skis in hand! The windows face directly toward the mountains, so morning coffee with such a view becomes a ritual you can’t give up.

Despite being a three-star property, the comfort here is at a much higher level. The kitchen is fully equipped (we cooked dinners after skiing), has everything needed for four people, including dishes and even spices. The beds are comfortable, hot water is always available — important after a day on the slopes. I especially liked that the hosts left detailed instructions about everything: where to buy groceries, how to get to the lifts, even where the best pizza in the area is (spoiler: really delicious!). Parking is free right next to the building, which is rare for Slavske, especially during season.

Overall the atmosphere here is homey and peaceful — perfect after an active day. Neighbors are quiet, the area is safe, you can walk around calmly in the evening. In summer it would probably be even better with those views of the green mountains. The only downside — WiFi sometimes lags, but honestly, it’s actually a blessing — finally you can rest from social media and enjoy a real vacation.
