Три берези turned out to be a real gem in Yaremche — a four-star hotel that feels more like a cozy estate than your typical tourist establishment. Located on Bohdana Lepkoho Street, it’s slightly removed from the main tourist hustle, which is actually a big advantage. Free parking right at the hotel (not always a given in the Carpathians), and the front desk staff is always ready to suggest the best hiking routes. The rooms are spacious with wooden accents that create a genuine mountain atmosphere — windows face either the forest or the inner courtyard with those same three birch trees that gave the hotel its name.
Breakfasts here are homemade and hearty — borscht, syrnyky, local sausages, everything you need before a long day in the mountains. The restaurant operates until 10 PM, and evenings there are quite peaceful, you can quietly sit with a glass of wine after an active day. WiFi works reliably (tested it even in rainy weather), which matters when you need to share those Hoverla photos on Instagram. In summer it’s cool here thanks to the surrounding forest, in winter — cozy, with a fireplace in the lobby and hot herbal tea from the mountains. The only downside — sometimes in the morning you might hear sounds from the kitchen (the hotel is small), but this adds authenticity rather than annoys.
It’s a 10-15 minute leisurely walk to downtown Yaremche, 20 minutes by car to the Bukovel lift. The hosts truly care about their guests: they can arrange transfers, recommend a guide, or simply tell you where to buy the most delicious Hutsul cheese. The hotel has that rare balance between comfort and homeliness — you don’t feel like just another booking number here.
