Once you’re there though, you realize why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. This property delivers an experience that far exceeds typical mountain accommodations in the region.
Location & Setting
Baia de Fier isn’t your typical Romanian tourist town, and that’s exactly what makes it special. You’re positioned perfectly for exploring the Carpathians without dealing with crowds, and I mean perfectly. The recent guests weren’t kidding when they rated the location so highly — you can actually hear the forest from your room. It’s close enough to civilization that you won’t feel stranded, but far enough out that you’ll forget about your phone notifications for hours at a time. The surrounding landscape offers endless opportunities for nature walks and outdoor exploration throughout the seasons.
The Accommodation Experience
The “tiny house” concept works better than I thought it would. Everything has been designed with intention — no wasted space, but somehow it doesn’t feel cramped at all. The attention to detail is what sets this four-star property apart from typical mountain lodges. You’ll find yourself appreciating things like the perfectly positioned windows that frame the surrounding landscape, or how the compact kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to prepare a simple meal together. The thoughtful layout maximizes comfort while maintaining the intimate atmosphere that makes this apartment so appealing.

Nice concept, not often found in Romania. The house is tiny, but well equipped, it doesn’t feel as tiny as it actually is. The bedrooms are reachable by steep stairs, which might be an inconvenient for some. For us and our son it wasn’t, he loved climbing them back and forth. The yard is large, nicely equipped with barbecue, sitting and kids playground.
We spent 3 nights at Tiny House and the overall experience was great. The house is nice, we had all the breakfasts & dinners in the gazeebo accompanied by the cutest dog:). Cosmin and Silvia were responsive and we were in constant contact for everything we needed. The house is also equiped with all you need. I would say that this could be also a great location for kids because the garden is huge, you have some swings, trampoline and so on.
What we liked was also the fact that there were no neighbours, you can watch great sunsets from the garden and is located close to the main atractions from the area.

Nice location, quiet, the house is small but provides all facilities you need for a relaxing vacation. Everything is very clean including a nice and good maintained garden.

Locatia este perfecta pentru liniste si relaxare, curtea este foarte mare si casa este foarte bine dotata. De asemenea, gazda este foarte prietenoasa si ne-a ajutat cu orice am avut nevoie.
Totul la superlativ ! Abia așteptăm să ne reîntoarcem în acest loc minunat. Locul este perfect pentru relaxare și conectare cu familia. Câteva zile petrecute în acest loc splendid te vor ajuta să uiți de viața zbuciumată de la oraș. Ne-am distrat de minune împreuna cu copilașul nostru. La proprietate puteți găsi o trambulină, leagăne, coș de baschet și câteva mingi cu care prichindelul sigur își va face de lucru. Cel mic până și in prezent ne întreabă când mai mergem la casa frumoasă unde ne-am distrat pe cinste. Bucătăria este echipată cu tot ce este necesar, baia la fel, iar dormitoarele sunt exact ce trebuie. Nu am întâmpinat greutăți în legătură cu scările interioare, ținând cont că copilul are vârsta de 3 ani și jumătate, pentru el a fost foarte distractiv să “ ne cățărăm în copac “😅. Gazdele au fost foarte receptive si când am avut mici întrebări au răspuns imediat la mesaje. Au făcut o treabă uimitoare în crearea acestei pietre prețioase unice în mijlocul naturii. Foarte plăcut totul, întocmai ca în descriere, iar locul a fost foarte accesibil. O zonă retrasă si liniștită, ferită de aglomerație si gălăgie. Extra punct - aveți ce să vizitați prin apropiere. Recomand cu toată încrederea ! ♥️

Locația buna, curte mare , in casa ai cam tot ce dorești, in apropiere găsești cafenea, supermarket,pizzerie. Distanta mica față de principale atracții din zonă.
Super domecek,nic nechybelo,paradni zahrada pro deti,ideal misto na relax,naproste soukromi...A hlavne majitelka ve spouste veci pomohla,poradila,jeste jednou DEKUJEME! TOP CLASS!
