The Living in Urochyshe Mochary turned out to be a pleasant discovery during our trip to Tatariv. This three-star hotel is located a bit away from the main tourist hustle, which actually became a big plus — there’s real peace here, especially in the evenings. Parking is free and right by the entrance, which is convenient when you’re carrying lots of gear for a mountain vacation. The staff is very friendly, check-in went smoothly even though we arrived a bit earlier than the official time.
The rooms are quite cozy, though not luxurious — exactly what you need after a full day on the slopes or hiking around the area. Hot water was always available, heating worked well (important in winter in the mountains!). Windows face the forest, so you wake up in the morning to birdsong rather than traffic noise. Wi-Fi works decently in the rooms, though sometimes it slows down — but honestly, that’s even better when you want to disconnect from city chaos. Breakfast is simple but tasty: homemade cheeses, casseroles, fresh bread and coffee. Nothing fancy, but everything natural and filling.
The location in Urochyshe Mochary is perfect for those seeking peace among nature, but who don’t want to go too far from civilization. It’s just a few minutes by car to Tatariv, and not far to the ski lifts either. In winter the road can be a bit challenging after snowfalls, but that’s typical for mountainous areas. Overall, The Living is a place for those who value simplicity, cleanliness and natural beauty all around. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — nothing extraordinary, but everything done with soul and attention to guests.
