The location gives you easy access to hiking trails that locals have been using for generations, plus you’re close enough to the thermal springs that give the town its name (Topliţa literally means “little warm place”). The resort staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the standard tourist spots. During my stay, they pointed me toward a hiking trail that I never would have found on my own – one that leads to some incredible views over the Mureș Valley.
