The walking trails toward Gubałówka start practically from your doorstep, and there’s this little local market about five minutes away where you can grab fresh bread and local cheese – way better than the overpriced stuff near the cable car station. The hosts seem to genuinely care about their guests’ experience, which shows in those little touches like having local hiking maps readily available and actually knowing which restaurants are worth your time versus the tourist traps. For a 3-star rating, this place punches well above its weight – that 9 rating isn’t an accident. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than just another hotel room, and in Zakopane’s sometimes chaotic tourism scene, that’s exactly what you want.
