Svityaz Resort turned out to be a pleasant discovery during my trip to Truskavets — this four-star hotel is definitely worth considering, especially if you’re going for treatment or just want to escape the city hustle. Located on Sukhovolya Street 25, it’s close enough to the center to walk to the mineral water pump room (about 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace), but in a quiet enough area — in the morning you’ll only be woken by birdsong.
Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and speaks several languages, which is very helpful. The rooms are spacious with nice views of the Truskavets surroundings, especially if you get the upper floors. The bathroom is modern, hot water was always available, which you can’t always say about other hotels in the region. Wi-Fi works reliably even in the room — I worked online for several hours daily without problems. Parking is also fine: there’s a private area where you can leave your car safely. Breakfasts are varied, with both traditional Ukrainian dishes and European options — omelets, pastries, fresh fruits. The only thing that was slightly disappointing — the pool doesn’t operate year-round, so if you’re planning a trip in winter or late fall, better check in advance. Overall, for the price-quality ratio, Svityaz Resort makes a good impression, especially for those who value comfort without excessive luxury.
