The apartments are well-equipped too, which matters when you’re planning longer stays or want to cook some meals instead of eating out every night (restaurants around Štrbské Pleso can get pricey, especially during peak season). I appreciated having a proper kitchen because after long days hiking trails like the one up to Popradské pleso, sometimes you just want to make something simple and crash on the couch.

Parking was straightforward, which is actually a big deal here since finding spots near the lake can be a nightmare during busy periods. The check-in process was smooth – the owners clearly know what they’re doing and seem to genuinely care about the property. The 9-rating makes sense when you consider the combination of location, views, and the fact that everything just works without drama. It’s not flashy or over-designed, just solid, comfortable apartments where you can base yourself for exploring this incredible part of Slovakia. Perfect if you’re planning to tackle some of the more serious hiking trails in the area, or if you just want to wake up to mountain views without the crowds of the bigger hotels down by the lake.
