Soul House in the town of Bagna became a real discovery for me during my recent trip around Ukraine. This four-star hotel is located in a quiet area where you can finally rest from the city hustle — parking is free right at the entrance, which is rare for many Ukrainian hotels. Check-in went smoothly (even a bit earlier than the standard 2 PM), and the staff immediately told us about local attractions and the best places for walks.
The rooms here are very cozy, with thoughtful design and quality furniture — you can feel that the owners really care about details. I especially liked the bathroom with a large mirror and good lighting, plus the bed linens are clearly premium quality. Breakfast is served until 10 AM in a small restaurant on the first floor, and although the selection isn’t huge, everything is very tasty and fresh — I especially recommend the local syrniki and homemade jam. In winter it’s particularly comfortable here thanks to quality heating, and in summer it’s pleasant to sit on the terrace overlooking the green courtyards.
What I remember most is the atmosphere of peace and homey comfort that you rarely find in large hotel chains. The owners often chat with guests, share stories about the region, and are always ready to help organize excursions or transfers. Wi-Fi works stably throughout the property, which is important for those traveling with work. The only thing — the air conditioner in my room was a bit noisy, but it’s not critical, especially if you open the window at night (the area is very quiet). For this price and quality of service, I will definitely return here again.
