Смарт-квартира turned out to be a real gem during my week-long vacation in the Carpathians. This three-star apartment is located right in the center of Skole, on Brativ Vilshynskykh Street — very convenient for city walks and quick access to local cafes. Check-in went smoothly, although the hosts warned that it’s better to arrive before 8 PM, as it can be more complicated with keys later (they live nearby, but still). The apartment is very modern — smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and even smart outlets, which really justifies the name. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we cooked breakfasts ourselves, which saved quite a bit of money.

I especially liked how quiet it is at night — the windows don’t face the main road, so you can barely hear cars. In summer this is an ideal place because you can easily walk to the start of hiking trails, and in winter (as the neighbors told us) the ski lifts are within arm’s reach. Parking is a separate story: there’s no official parking, but we always found a spot on the street, just important not to leave the car under prohibition signs. The owners are very responsive — when our hair dryer broke, they brought a new one within half an hour. The apartment is clean, everything works, hot water is constant. The only downside — neighbors upstairs sometimes walk noisily in the morning, but that’s more a feature of the building than a problem with the apartment. For this price and with an 8.0 rating — I definitely recommend it, especially if you plan to cook yourself and want to feel like a local resident rather than a tourist in a hotel.
