Skylark – Stockholm Penthouse with Jacuzzi, Movie Theater & Panoramic View
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Stockholm Penthouse” in the listing and then noticed the Brașov address, I was scratching my head. But honestly? That confusion melts away the second you step into this place on the sixth floor of that residential building on Strada Lebedei. The panoramic view hits you immediately, and suddenly the name makes perfect sense – you’re looking out over Brașov’s red rooftops and the Carpathian mountains beyond like you’re floating above it all.
The jacuzzi is positioned perfectly to take advantage of those views, and I mean, there’s something pretty magical about soaking in hot water while watching the sun set behind Tampa Mountain. The movie theater setup is legit too – not just some TV on a wall, but an actual projection system that makes you forget you’re in an apartment. I ended up spending way more time there than I planned, especially during those chilly Romanian evenings when you don’t really want to venture out into the Old Town again.
What really got me was how quiet it is up there, even though you’re right in the city. Brașov can get pretty bustling, especially around Piața Sfatului, but this spot feels removed from all that energy without being inconvenient. You can walk to the main square in about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty if you’re taking your time and stopping to look at the Saxon architecture along the way. The building itself is one of those communist-era blocks that looks pretty standard from the outside, but the apartment renovation is stunning – modern fixtures, high-end finishes, and that 9.8 rating definitely isn’t inflated. Parking was easier than I expected too, which anyone who’s driven in Romanian city centers will appreciate. The only tiny thing I’d mention is that the elevator is a bit slow, but honestly, when you’re heading up to a penthouse with a jacuzzi and those views, you don’t really mind the extra minute.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
