Shelter Apart Hotel

Shelter Apart Hotel turned out to be a real gem in Bukovel! When we arrived in February for a ski week, we immediately knew we’d found the right place. This four-star hotel is located right in Bukovel — literally a 5-minute walk to the lifts, which is incredibly convenient, especially in the morning with ski equipment. Parking is free and right next to the entrance (in winter that’s gold!), and the reception staff always helps with slope maps and equipment rental advice.

The studio rooms here are really well thought out — a small kitchen with everything you need, a comfortable bed, and a large window with mountain views. We cooked breakfasts ourselves (there are several small shops nearby in the village), and in the evenings we went to Bukovel’s restaurants — the choice is huge. I especially liked that the room stays warm even on the coldest days, and hot water is always available. The soundproofing is decent, though you can sometimes hear neighbors from the stairs, but it’s not critical. In winter the hotel is popular with skiers, so it’s better to book in advance — prices are reasonable, and the location is truly excellent.

What I especially remember is the cozy atmosphere after a day on the slopes. You come back tired, enter the warm room, look out the window at the snow-covered peaks… In summer it’s probably wonderful here too — there are countless hiking trails around, and the air is crystal clear. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but everything you need for a comfortable vacation is there. The staff is friendly, Wi-Fi is stable, and most importantly — the location is just perfect for an active holiday in the Carpathians. We’ll definitely return here next winter!
